Submissions

50.50 commissions and produces a range of articles, blogs and podcasts to explore issues of gender equality and empowerment at the global level. We seek contributions that can argue for the equal reality, importance and democratic implication of women’s experience of the world.

We are open to unsolicited articles and pitches. If you are interested in writing for us about gender and power, please first consult openDemocracy's submission guidelines. Please send all documents as Word attachments to 5050 [at] opendemocracy.net.

Internships

50.50 is looking to grow its network of volunteer writers and web-publishers. The ongoing internship is on a part-time, casual basis with a minimum requirement of half-a-day per week. Candidates must be able to work remotely. Candidates should be able to write well and to have some experience of website management and HTML coding. There are no web-publishing internships available at the moment.
