Quote of the day

The sudden assertion of human criteria within a dehumanising framework of political manipulation can be like a flash of lightning illuminating a dark landscape

Al Qaida's Attempt at Reverse Brain-Drain

According to a British Anglican cleric who visited Amman in April of this year, an Al Qaida leader alluded to the bomb plots that took place in Scotland/London in a conversation with him –
Quote:
The people who cure you will kill you.
If this statement was not just a coincidence and Al Qaida did plan to use doctors as their ambassadors of demolition, it has one important implication that we should consider.
Al Qaida’s agenda to separate Islam from the Western world. It is no secret that terror closes doors. The bomb blast attempts have created a heightened sense of panic in the UK which has inevitably led to a renewed sense of xenophobia. In an effort to take cautionary measures and exert control over the present situation Gordon Brown announced a more austere attitude toward NHS visas in British parliament. At present several Indian doctors fill up the ranks of British hospital staff but now the government will make it more difficult doctors from India and the Middle East to practice in the UK.
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out the series of events has clearly moved in favor of Al Qaida’s agenda to segregate muslims from the Western world. With the additional restrictions and paperwork erudite muslim doctors will be reluctant to find work in the UK. This is much better than the Iraqi governments plan to withhold doctoral certification in an attempt to prevent the flow of qualified medical staff that is leaving the war-torn country.
It has become pertinent to study the motivations behind attackers and Al Qaida as a whole in order to prevent counter-productivity. More importantly it will avert western governments from playing into Al Qaida’s implicit anti-globalization agenda.
