The preventable pandemic: one woman's story


An estimated 20 million unsafe abortions are performed worldwide each year. Over 68,000 women die from complications associated, all preventable.

Faustina Fynn Nyame was working as a midwife in a London hospital, when a young woman from her native Ghana came in for a routine scan. The shocking discovery she made that day changed her life.
