Etgar KeretEtgar Keret, who was born in Tel Aviv in 1967, has a cult following in Israel. His two short story collections have been best-sellers, and have inspired 40 short films. His movie Skin Deep won the Israeli Oscar. He writes comedy for Israeli television, a regular comic strip, as well as a column in a Jerusalem weekly newspaper.
