Maryam OmidiMaryam Omidi has just come back from four months in Iran where as well as studying Persian literature and language, she edited articles at Iran News, trying her hardest to turn propaganda into more temperate, balanced writing (without being noticed). Before that she spent several years alternating between travelling and academia. She has a first class degree from the University of Manchester in Combined Studies; a bespoke degree which included Latin, literature, politics and philosophy. As a result, she knows a little about a lot and a lot about very little. This was followed by an MA in Issues in Modern Culture at UCL for which she received a distinction. Recent articles |
