Maysoon al-Damluji

Maysoon al-Damluji, President of the Iraqi Independent Women's Group and the Deputy Minister of Culture for the past two years, was an architect, political activist and unofficial cultural ambassador for Iraq when in exile in Britain. She is one of the founding members of the Iraqi Women’s Movement.
