Mient Jan Faber

Mient Jan Faber, a mathematician by training, is professor of Citizens’ Involvement in War Situations at the Free University in Amsterdam. For many years he worked for the Dutch Interchurch Peace Council (IKV) on civil-society initiatives. He is part of the working group on civil society’s role in relation to terrorism at the International Summit on Democracy, Terrorism and Security in March 2005.
