Omid Memarian

Omid Memarian is a journalist who writes for the IPS (Inter Press Service) news agency. Hs work has been published in the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the San Francisco Chronicle. He was chief researcher for Reese Erlich’s book Iran Agenda: the Real Story of U.S. Policy and The Middle East Crisis (PoliPoint Press, 2007)

Omid Memarian received the Human Rights Watch's highest honour in 2005, the “Human Rights Defender Award”. He was a World Peace Fellow at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism in 2007-09. His blog is here
