Erik Orsenna is the author of numerous essays and novels, including Grand Amour and L'Exposition Coloniale, which won the Prix Goncourt in 1988. Elected to the Academie franÌ_aise in 1998, he is currently president of the administrative council of the Ecole nationale supÌ©rieure du Paysage. His website is at www.erik-orsenna.com.
