Fred Dallmayr teaches political philosophy and international studies at the University of Notre Dame. His books include Alternative visions: paths in the global village (1998), Achieving our world: toward a global and plural democracy (2001), Dialogue among civilisations (2002), and Small wonder: global power and its discontents (2005).
