Jan Culik teaches Czech studies at Glasgow University Scotland, and is the publisher and editor of Britske listy, a daily investigative internet journal which specialises in media analysis and human rights issues. He regularly comments on Czech politics and culture for Central Europe Review. He has published a book on the Christmas 2000 rebellion at public service Czech TV (with Tomas Pecina), Vhlavnich zpravach: Televize.
