Lisa J Laplante is a human-rights lawyer who worked with the Peruvian Truth and Reconciliation Commission and is now assisting with the reparation claims of innocents victims of state persecution in Peru. She is project director with Praxis: An Institute for Social Justice, and conducting a study on the impact of the truth commission which will result in a book.
