Lyle Wright has a degree from the University of Saskatchewan and he worked for a few years at Agriculture Canada at its research Station at Swift Current, Saskatchewan. He represents the NFU on committees of the Canadian Grain Commission which sets standards for Canadian wheat and other grains. He farms with his wife Carol near Kerrobert, Saskatchewan.
