About Mazin Ezzat

Mazin Ezzat was born in Baghdad and studied for a diploma in oil engineering. He joined the Iraqi army in 1980, lost an eye in 1984, and rose to the rank of general by 2003. Since the recent war, he has worked as a coordinator for the Baghdad office of a British TV company and for an engineering firm.
