Pierre Radvanyi, is directeur de recherche ̩m̩rite of the Centre National de la Research Scientifique (CNRS), and ancien ̩l̬ve of F. Joliot, Institut de Physique Nucl̩aire in Orsay. He has written numerous books and essays on the history of the discovery of radioactivity, the latest being Les rayonnements nucl̩aires.
