Rada Ivekovic is a philosopher and university professor, based in France. She has published books on philosophy, Indology and national identity. She is a member of the editorial board of Transeuropéennes and of the research network Terra

Her books include (edited with Julie Mostov), From Nation to Gender, (Ravenna, Longo Editore, 2002); Le sexe de la nation (Paris, Léo Scheer, 2003); and (edited with Ghislaine Glasson Deschaumes) Divided Countries, Separated Cities: The Modern Legacy of Partition (Oxford University Press, 2004)
