About Rick Moody

Rick Moody is a novelist and essayist who lives in New York. He received the PEN/Martha Albrand Award for his memoir The Black Veil (2002), a Addison Metcalf Award from American Academy of Arts and Letters, and a Guggenheim fellowship. Among his novels are Garden State (Pushcart Press, 1992), The Ice Storm (1994), and Purple America (1997).
