About Roman Yushkov and Vassily Moseyev
Roman Yushkov is environment activist and lecturer at the Natural Protection Department of the Perm University.
Vassily Moseyev (1948-2011) was the lead author of the Perm Regional Human Rights Centre's publication Za Choloveka ['For Mankind'], a correspondent of the All-Russian Glasnost Defense Foundation, and for the past two decades was leader of the Perm branch of the Russian Union of Journalists.

Reforms to public health systems are always dictated by the need to cut costs. Russia is no exception, but the results are proving catastrophic. Access to state treatment is ever more limited and often unaffordable private health services are the only way of getting better or staying alive. Roman Yushkov and Vasily Moseyev consider the situation in Perm region and wonder if this is not part of a cunning freemarket plot.
