About Sameer Mallick
Dr. Sameer Mallick serves as the Head of Medical Policy and Practice at Averroes and lead author of a forthcoming report on ‘Assisted Dying’. He is an Academic Clinical Fellow in ENT Surgery at the University of Nottingham and a member of the Royal College of Surgeons. He contributes to health care analysis and policy and has managed health portfolios for major Muslim charities.

UK - a stance supported by the majority of the medical profession. In the face
of harrowing cases such as that of Tony Nicklinson, it is important to remember
that unwillingness to deviate from this law is not the symptom of a narrow
prejudice but the result of a long and informed debate.
