About Susan Ossman

Susan Ossman is the author of Three Faces of Beauty. Casablanca, Paris, Cairo (Duke University Pres, 2002), Picturing Casablanca, Portraits of power in a Modern City (University of California Press 1994), and is editor of Miroirs Maghr̩bins, Itin̩raires de soi et Paysages de Rencontre (CNRS 1998), and Mimesis: imiter, repr̩senter, circuler, H̩rm̬s, no. 22, 1998 (CNRS 1998). She is founder of the French research center (Centre Jacque Berque) in Morocco, and is currently Professor of Anthropology and Global Studies at the University of California, Riverside.
