Henry Hale teaches at Indiana University. His book Why Not Parties in Russia? Democracy, Federalism and the State was published by Cambridge University Press in 2006. His next, The Foundations of Ethnic Politics: Separatism of States and Nations in Eurasia and the World, will be published shortly.
