About Pablo Castillo Diaz

Before joining UNIFEM’s Governance, Peace and Security team in the spring of 2009, Pablo Castillo Díaz spent several years teaching Political Science courses at Rutgers University, Fordham University, Lehman College, Queens College, and Wesleyan University. He is scheduled to defend his doctoral dissertation (“The International Criminal Court in Eastern and Central Africa: Between the Possible and the Desirable”) in 2010, and  specializes in international justice issues and war crimes courts. He has done field research in Uganda and Liberia. He graduated from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain) with a degree in Political Science and International Relations.
