C.H.That is a great irony,

C.H.

That is a great irony, but there are many ironies in comparing the Occupy movement to the Arab Spring, so how about throwing this one in as a candidate for the greatest irony:

Arabs have bravely stood up to dictators and their security forces to demand a greater say in their own destiny, and more social, political and economic freedom to advance their societies.  Anyone who cares about the state of humanity has suffered through the knowledge of tens of thousands of these brave souls being tortured, butchered, and executed in their struggle.  Meanwhile, in the obliviously self-absorbed streets of America, our protestors are screaming about conditions in a fascist police state because a couple of dozen people got pepper-sprayed after refusing to disassemble their tents.

Apparently the protestors thought that the effects of pepper spray would be diminished by a thick layering of patchouli oil.  Yet another practical misconception of the Left.
