How do a people make their desires known, genius, if not by democracy. You are a clearly a condescending racist who has little respect for Arabs and little knowledge of the middle east. Get a grip on reality.

"They can one day join a democratic Afghanistan and a democratic Palestine inspiring reforms throughout the Muslim world." What if they don't want democracy? Did anyone ask the Iraqis if that is what they wanted before we went there? I think it's funny how we believe the world should be shaped as we think it should be shaped. I'm just saying this because I spent a number of years living and working in different countries and most want only some of the things we like but not everything. They are very happy with their own values and don't believe what is better for us is certainly better for them.
