welcome kappel Are we created with a Creator? Had this Creator addressed us through scientific approaches that suit our present times such that we may confess by this logical fact? If you want to search for a mental answer to these questions, please read this article. Quran is a word of the God Allah, that was revealed to his last prophet Mohammad, in the light of the history to guide the humanity at the time of its maturity. Mohammed is looked upon by the Muslims as a man who received from the Creator a message or a religion called the Islam. Such Quran guides them to know Allah and leads them to have a successful life and to perform ideally their role on the earth. The meaning of the word Islam is the complete obedience to God. Muslims know Allah by His Mercy and Wise, but they believe that He is beyond the abilities of their imagination or vision. Quran can be viewed from a scientific point of view as a sustaining proof that assures the truth of Mohammeds message, since its wording is different from the traditional wording of people. Any one, who reads or understands the Koran, will find that its source cannot be a man who was born in a Bedouin culture since more than fourteen centuries. But it is surely revealed from the Creator of the man and the universe, Who has unlimited science regarding all His creations. We can find that our modern sciences concerning our universe and ourselves just help us to have a more perfect and deeper understanding of the verses of the Koran. We can see such vision in the following verses which are found in a Surah of the Quran with the title Al-Wakihah (the day of resurrection). Allah leads us by these verses through a series of logic questions to assure certain fact We are created and He is our Creator. So, the first verse states the following question: We (Allah) have created you, so why you dont believe that. (57/56) (The verse number 57 from SuratAl-Wakihah[1]) Now, let us read the answer of this question in the next verses from Surat Al-Wakihah (verses 57 75)[2]: Have you (O man) ever seen (or observe and investigate) the semen that you emit (emitted during a man and a woman intercourses), `is it you who create it, or are we the Creator? We have ordained death to you and none of you shall escape it, and We are not to be prevented (or are able) to replacing you with the same kind (or transfigure you), or recreate you in any other form that you havent ever known. And indeed, you know the initial form of creation (i.e. the creation of Adam). Have you ever seen (or investigate) the seeds (the source of your food) that you are sowing in the ground (and then you feed upon them), is it you who master its growth and cultivation (or the characteristics of each plant), or are We the Master? Were it our Will, We could crumble such cultivation to chaff and you would be regretful (or left in wonderment). Then you would say, We have incurred a loss. Nay. But we are deprived. Have you ever seen the water you drink (or looked to its sources and cycles)? Is it you who mastered it to be dropped to you from Al Mozn (from clouds)? Or We are the Master? If it is Our Will, We could leave it salty (in its original form as sea water). Then why arent you thanking? Have you ever seen (or investigate) the fuel (or fire as a source of energy) that is hidden (is hidden during its combustion in your bodies), is it you who constructed its tree (as the factory which produce the source of such fire)? We are Who make it in this way to let you enjoying your strength (through motion and doing effort) andto remind you (with Gods Will). Then (as a conclusion for that proofs), Glorify with praises the Name of Your Lord, The Most Great (56/58-74). As the reader can find, the answer in the first verse is given by another four specific questions that motivate our abilities of investigating and deep looking. All of them start by 4 words: Have you ever seen (or looked at) Of course, being in this century, we have a higher ability to look, search, understand and explain theses verses and discuss their logic through deep scientific procedures. So, I will try to explain these verses from my point of view as an engineer. Of course my explanation or understanding will be limited to my scope of thinking. Of course such understanding is different from the explanation of a man who has deeper knowledge than me. Islam believes in the theory of creation and Darwinists believe in the Theory of Evolution. In this article briefly it is discussed that the life on earth is created by God; it is not accidental or by chance. The atheists and the materialists negate the existence of God and consider human life and even mind to be a form of matter. Darwins theory of Evolution has influenced the minds of people and their character has been influenced as well. Such people do not believe in divine morals and values. They do not believe in God, soul and Hereafter. Islam says that God has created this universe and Humans with a specified goal. In Sura the Heifer in verse 117 the Quran says: To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: when He decrees a matter, He says to it: Be, and it is. Similarly in Sura Yasin in verse no. 82 the Quran announces: Verily, when He intends a thing, His command is, Be; and it is. The Quran has used two words for creation Khalaq and Amr. Amr is immediate command and immediate creation. Suppose about the creation of soul the Quran says: They ask you about soul, say; the soul is the command of my Lord All humans and the cosmos has been regarded as Khalq. The man comes in to being through a proper natural system. Without sexual intercourse and conception no life can take shape. But when the Quran refers about the birth of Jesus Christ; it is not natural or usual way of birth. It is through special command. Similarly the mothers of Yahya and Ishmael had gone old and barren and could not produce children. But the Quran mentions about their birth through special command. The natural laws and usual system of creation is regarded as Khalq. Hence the Quran in Sura Al-Imran in verse 190 says; Behold! In the creation of heavens and the earth, and the alternation of Night and Day there are indeed signs for men of understanding. There are many verses in the Quran dealing with the subject of creation. Then there is also the concept of evolutionary process in creation but it is not in Darwinian sense but in the sense of developing stages of cosmos. The Quran in Sura The Height in verse 54 announces; Your Guardian Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days. Then in Sura the cattle in verse 2 the Quran says; He it is who created you from clay; and then decreed a stated term) for you). An there is in His presence another determined term; yet you doubt within yourselves. The six days and stated term indicate the process and stages of creation by God. The creation of the universe in six days is the Biblical concept as well. Man is the blend of Matter and Soul. When God created Adam out of clay he infused his spirit in it. The Quran very explicitly narrates the story of the creation of Adam. The materialists do not believe in creation and spirit and regard the universe only the product of blind material forces. Now let us discuss what Darwin propounded. Darwinism bases on materialism. The ancient Greek materialists like Democritus believed in Evolutionary Naturalism. Besides the British scientist Charles Robert Darwin (1809 1882) and the British philosopher Herbert Spencer (1820 1903), a number of other eminent philosophers supported the theory of evolution. Hegels theory of cosmic evolution is its offshoot. Nietzsche applied the concept of evolution to ethical theory. Karl Marx and Engels adopted it to socio political philosophy. Thomas Henry Huxlay humanized it. Henri Bergson became one of its most influential exponents and Samuel Alexander developed it into his novel theory of emergent evolution. French Zoologist Jean de Lamarck (1744 1829), in 1809 presented his pioneering theory of evolution. Charles Darwin, in his The Origin of Species 1859) and The Descent of Man 1871), presented his theory of evolution. He presented the theory of the Mechanism of Natural Selection or survival of the fittest. Darwinism maintains that living things were not created but came into being by chance. Darwinism, materialism and communism believe in matter not in spirit. Darwin himself regarded his theory based on assumptions. Darwinism has been scientifically rejected. The defeat of Darwinism in the faces of science can be reviewed under three basic topics: 1- The Darwinism theory cannot scientifically explain how life originated on Earth. 2- No scientific finding shows that the evolutionary mechanism proposed by the theory have any evolutionary power at all. 3- The fossil record provided proves the exact opposite of what the theory suggests. The evolutionists claim that the universe started from first atom and life started from first cell. Who created the atom and cell, the evolutionists cannot answer. Inanimate matter must have produced a living cell as a result of coincidence in the belief of the evolutionists. Modern biologists have rejected this claim. Life comes from life has been proved. The theory of spontaneous generation, which asserts that non-living materials came together to form living organism has been rejected. In a lecture at the Sorbonne in 1864, Pasteur said; Never will the doctrine of spontaneous generation recover from the mortal blow struck by this simple experiment. The great evolutionists like Russian biologist Alexander Oparin and American chemist Stanley Miller experimented to prove that a living cell could originate by coincidence but failed and they admitted their failure. Oparin in Origin of Life and Stanley Miller in Molecular Evolution of life discuss it in detail. Jeffery Bada in his book Earth admits: we still face the biggest unsolved problem that we had when we entered the twentieth century: how did life originate on earth. The conditions required for the formation of cell are too great in quantity to be explained away by coincidences. The DNA molecule is so complex that it cannot be accidental or coincidental. Mechanism of evolution has been also rejected. No deer becomes horse and no ape becomes man. It is a fallacious theory having no historical and scientific evidence. Lamarck and Darwin believed in the transferring of traits of one species to the other. They maintain that living creatures passed on the traits they acquired during lifetime to the next generation. Giraffes evolved from antelopes and bears transformed into whales. However, the laws of inheritance discovered by Gregor Mendel (1822 1884) and verified by the science of genetics have nullified the theory of evolutionary mechanism. Neo-Darwinism advances the Modern synthetic Theory. Mutations, i.e.; genetic disorders do not cause living beings to develop on the contrary they are always harmful. The fossil record theory of Darwin, which was a basic contention, has been rejected on scientific grounds. According to this theory, every living species has sprung from a predecessor. No Transitional Forms have yet been uncovered. On the contrary, the British Paleontologist, Drerk v. Ager in The Nature of the Fossil Record admits that the fossil records shows not gradual evolution but the sudden explosion of one group at the expense of another. This is just the opposite of Darwins assumptions. Douglas J. Futuyma, an eminent evolutionist biologist in his book, Science of Trail announces organism as the creation of some omnipotent intelligence. Fossils show, writes Harun Yahua, in his book, The Importance of Conscience in the Quran, that living beings emerged fully developed and in a perfect state on the earth. That means, that the Origin of Species, contrary to Darwins suppositions, is not evolution, but creation. On the wonders of creation the Quran in Sura Rehman aptly announces: He has created man. He has taught him an intelligent speech. What muslim world now needs is new beginning. In Islam there should be no clercy, but there is, "scholars". They and their interpretations are taking us into a war. Only way to destroy their credibility as only allowed truth in interpretations and teachings, and remove those rights to people studying themselves Quran with literacy and knowledge, is science and challenging their old views, even showing how wrong they must be even according to Quran. Then their own teachings would be in contradiction about their "position of knowledge". Good example from this all is "Adam and Eve", because DNA-tested people all over the world have conformed that we all humans have common ancestors (at least same mother according to tests, Hawwa is translated as original mother from Quran, there had to be male too), as far as 200 000 years. It does not matter how they came here (like for example from leap of evolution, 3:59 says that "The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: Be. And he was", which can only mean that similitude is on both coming from womb they were created without [HUMAN!] father, as in 16:40 is said that Allah created ALL by word Be too, Be is not quick, Jesus grew slowly in womb) when Koran renounces that all humans, so Adam too, are created from water, clay (/ground/dust f.ex. in 23:12) and semen, how this could be fitted together but by evolution starting in and from water (sea), leading to semen that grow from eating food, grown from ground, then from there to womb that semen requires? In fact it can not mean anything else, as 37:11 is speaking about all humans created from ground in general level, not just about Adam, and he has not been excluded from parts of Koran where mankind has been created by semen (nutfah). So we can connect this development also to other species living before, turning to "ashes" even then, coming building blocks for us too, and Allah says in Koran that He created those also from water (f.ex.21:30) like "all living things" on earth (evolution started from water, in all living water is important and in searching for life in space water is priority), which continued on land as same family coming from water. So humans are most accurately described to be created from water, the ground and from semen, animals overall from water (=by evolution) as scale is larger, and biggest scale of opportunities for creation is when jinns (other than human/animals) are said to be created from fire without smoke, from (early died and exploded) stars (producing material for everything) as in space fire has no smoke due to lack of oxygen. ). In Koran might be advice to think other earlier (and those lived with us) human-like also, were they humans or not, in fact it is said in 6:133 that we have been raised from "posterity of other people". Scholars were not wrong as according to hadith they said that Allah "shaped with His hands" humans from BOTH water and ground, as we truly have been shaped from fish to reptile, then from four legs to two legs, etc. Koran only mentions Adam as first VICEGERENT on earth, there is no denying that same kind of species could exist on other planets, or that other kinds of earlier human-like species were created earlier on earth (who were not "vicegerent", maybe because they were unable to be it due lack of some properties like higher intelligent). 38:72 says that when Allah created Adam He breathed His spirit into him (notice that according 2:34 immediate command to bow down after that happened only after Adam was told name of things, so maybe his spirit was created before he came to paradise/earth/paradise on earth, explaining how according to Bible Jesus said he was before Abraham was on earth) , which can be seen as one thing making difference between modern humans and earlier humans/animals, maybe it is mostly capability to believe in Allah that was given to first modern human coming from womb of earlier human (in leap of evolution). In fact we have to remember that in Quran Allah say only that He CREATED (in past time form) man (could be only MANKIND, beginning of it) from semen. It does not exclude Adam, but it could exclude many people in the future who are not created from sperm, but by cloning, then this would be about Adam only. Or then semen does not mean only sperm, but also for example cell ("beginning unit") that some people are cloned from. Evolution is said to be continued, Allah can add into it what He wills. 37:11 "Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay!" This ayat shows that we really are basically normal animals, we even share 98% of our genes with chimpanzees. So if simps were easy to create, so are we. 21:30 "Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece (/as one unit of creation), before We clove them asunder (/then We parted them)? We made from water every living thing, Will they not then believe?" In "big bang" (and maybe even before it ours and other universes) and in early stages of universe heavens were together, and earth was together with heavens, and they got separated. And Also earth got separated as continental plates were together (last time Pangaeia).
