The language used in the United Kingdom is English. This is the language used in our schools and it is English that should be used. Whether a child speaks a different language at home is neither here nor there, but at school he should be fully conversant with English. And by the way Faith is not about language. It is about belief and to believe you can use any language you like. Your attitude reminds me of that in the 16th Century which forbid the translation of the Bible into other languages. One of those who was most vigorous in his persecution of William Tyndale (who translated much of the Bible into English) was Sir Thomas Moore. So why not realize that you can be a Muslim and read the Koran in English. Or do you hate the English so much that this is unacceptable to you ?
