"It's all so much simpler in America." Sure, if you're a millionaire. What an oversimplified, superficial argument! In the US and Canada 50% of all legal cases go to court without a lawyer on one side or another because of lack of funds. While the EU solution may have serious problems litigation is the solution for the rich only. That is not a solution in a democracy.
