One of the first articles is a careful interview with <a href="/russia/article/how_british_manage_power_transitions">Peter Riddell</a> about how we change our leaders in Britain. Putin&#39;s handover of the, er, Presidency is not mentioned. But it is fascinating to think of how our leadership changes, especially those without an election (this time no names mentioned here!), might be viewed from Moscow.
