This man is a very foolish loud mouthed religious bigot but accusations of anti-semitism have always been based on deliberate mistranslations and the the traditional conflation of opposition to Zionism and anti-semitism.

I agree with your second premise about the mistranslations and the the traditional conflation of opposition to Zionism and anti-semitism , but you'll have to elaborate on him being a bigot. I don't think he qualifies as being a bigot, especially since, as you say, the mistranslations and the media war is being won by the west.
I stand slightly corrected...
I'm afraid my own prejudices are showing through here. Iran has a vicious religious regime which executes homosexuals, horribly oppresses women and locks up and murders dissidents. I am assuming that as president he supports such things. I'm afraid I have no direct evidence of this.
