Human history is well over 5 thousand years in China which developed it's culture,education and religion. Gone are the good culture,education and religion and replaced by MONEY,mostly influenced by English speaking capitalism which again have nothing but MONEY in charge. Perhaps in other countries e.g. Muslim where certain moral standards survive and MONEY is not the KING. If human cannot live a simple,peaceful,healthy,happy and good life,keep destroying our enviroment,wasting our resources,waging greedy wars to take,doing all sort of silly immoral acts which are against mother nature,human will eventually disappear from this planet Earth. We may have many rich human but for human to survive and prosper,we need more people who are true to good human culture,education and religious teachings. A simple,peaceful,healthy,happy and good human who lives in Hong Kong.

Agreed. Our economic world should be built on ecology, not finance. Money is just a tool to help a large economy to work. Materialism has made money into a thing-in-itself, and people are behaving as if it is the greatest reality. This is a recipe for unhappiness, and eventually, for a crash. Our living environment and society are the places we must look for happiness.

Steve, I suppose we all live simple and good life. I bought only one slipper at US$7.0 this year to replace the torn one which had been with me for over two years. That is what I need to go out to swim. We are true to our civilization,culture,education and religion if any. We do the right and mostly good things. If more people do the same,this world is a much better place for human including our posterity to live in. Apparently this world isn't I think due to human greed resulting in huge wealth disparity,instability for all. We cannot change it by ourselves but all people together can ! k.y. a simple,peaceful,healthy,happy and good human who lives in Hong Kong.

1- I think now adays world of morals are degrading by the materialistic world which are always hungrey for money eventhough they have enough to live peacfully and happy. Evensometimes love become conditional with the same family if their is more money and all forget the real morals behind money.

2- also i agree with richard as our environment is the best to give us happiness and not to destroy it by materialistic wastes which really is very bad and at the end will harm all of us materialistic persons and moral persons.
