Now... there is turmoil and unrest BUT also some organization in PAKISTAN despite what many may believe!! We must remember Pakistan is wedged between Afghanistan and Iraq and other nearby countries who sponsor terrror and has been no friend at all with INDIA for years!! Yes..President Pervez Musharraf has declared a state of emergency and has suspended the constitution for a while but this has probably been well thought out...... The last thing Musharraf needs now is suicide bombers making inroads in Pakistan to promote terrorism!! President Musharraf has greatly assisted the West in the WAR ON TERROR and he and his regime what anyone thinks, has greatly assisted not just the U.S. but other countries targeted for terrorist attacks and their intelligence agencies such as the C.I.A.-F.B.I. British intelligence and even RUSSIAN intelligence to apprehend top AL QUAEDA TERRORISTS!!! .To name just a handful......KSM-KHALID SHEIKH MOHAMMED---- --Ramzi Bin Al Shibh and Al Libby---soon to be turned over to U.S. authorities after intense interrorgation!!! Do you think that just MAYBE there has been some great intelligence gained by intense interrogation of these top of the line TERRORISTS based in PAKISTAN!! All along and every day Musharraf has had his own life and political career on the line and the overall safety of his fellow countrymen as terrorists have continued to apply pressure on Musharrafs' government and the Taliban and Bin Laden's people have been moving into northern Pakistan and now moving south!! TRUE---Perhaps for a while the citizens of Pakistan may have had some of their freedoms taken away for their own protection as well including MISS BHUTTO who has recently arrived on the scene....... Musharraf has been tough and other leaders in the war on terror are NOT living with these kind of terrorists parked in their back yard every day!!! ...Here in the U.S. the PATRIOT ACT---a good tool to fight terrorism has infringed on the so- called freedom of some Americans and others in Canada and elsewhere!!! BUT U.S. officials have not been overly critical of themselves for some of these unpopular but NEEDED tactics during very unusual times to preserve the safety of Americans or those visiting the U.S. and Canada!!! The PATRIOT ACT has been needed and there are compromises to preserve safety and DEMOCRACY and PEACE!!! In ENGLAND intelligence authorities have also been using tactics to protect its people but there has not been much criticism of British authorities and there should not be.!!!! ..There is a WAR ON TERRORISM going on--WORLDWIDE!!!...And finally Musharraf even took some protective steps only to be criticized by other countries who have quietly used constitutional infringing tactics but for the better of their fellow cocuntrymen!! ...So..What is new???...These are tactics countries must do at times to not only preserve freedom for all but even the leaders of countries who are destined to freedom and peace......Sometimes the measures are drastic and indeed unpopular BUT NEEDED.!!! As for Miss Bhutto,-- a good woman--- but how convenient that NOW she appears on the scene.!! ...We wonder who may have convinced her that this is a good time to return to Pakisstan!!! ...Just think and you can answer that question rather easily!! With Musharraf stepping down as head of the military hopefully someone just as strong will take over and cocntinue the aggressive job against TERROR!!! The U.S and other western countries want desparately to start attacking terrorists in northern Pakistan as that is where Osma Bin Laden and Al Zawahiri have most likely been hiding and it is an area until now has not been allowed to be attacked and Pakistans ISI-Secret Service has seen to that!!! ...UNDERSTOOD!!!!! IF-- Bhutto or someone else has the say with the military this will be done but many more innocent lives will be lost in yet ANOTHER war and battle against terror in Pakistan!! Is another battlefield needed to be created to promote the public relations campaiogn of the terrorists with blood on it!! ...At least for now back off on Musharraf!!! ..He has done a lot more good than bad and if the terrorists have their way he would be dead tomorrow!! HOWEVER..we must be realistic that there are INTERNAL problems within Pakistan and in the near future changes and diplomatic policies must change especially for the people of Pakistan and the approach on terror by the United States. .....MORE DIPLOMACY is needed!! That will most likely come when the U.S. has a new administration and the BUSH era exits!! Also a new focus on Homeland Security within the boundaries of North America!! After all that is where the U.S. has been atttacked!! Finally the people of Pakistan must have more stability of their own from within and that is something the United States and coalition forces may not be able to accomplish as we have seen in Iraq and even Afghanistan!! ..Leave tomorrow for FREEDOM and PEACE and let's see what happens because ahh--it is also an election year and who knows some major developments against terror may prove quite successful!! ........ .......................
