In The Woods

Two towns in Vermont? Talk about beating the bushes for a story.

Where did they take the vote, a bar?

Recent news believe it or not!

Unbelievably stupid!  I found the article on Reuters as well.  These clowns in Vermont remind me of a scene in "Animal House"
Otter: Dead! Bluto's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.
Bluto: We're just the guys to do it.
D-Day: Let's do it.
Bluto: LET'S DO IT!
....And so the Lefty Vermonters decided to embarrass themselves and use the town's tax money to place an unenforceable, symbolic, and truly futile gesture on the ballot.  How many poor helpless orphans could have been fed with the money wasted on those ballots?  How much carbon was expended contributing to Global climate change?  The shame of it all!
