US Can't Take On UK

United States globalization setback.

This week Metro bank opened in Holborn, first new bank on the highstreet for 100 years. Maybe the UK does need a change, but whether due to Anti-Americanism or not, the venture has not been welcomed warmly.

The lukewarm reception has been widely reported, and some articles are downright vicious. (http://www.dontpaniconline.com/magazine/politics/new-fun-bank-opens-in-holborn)

Does this signify a decrease of US influence? Or is it just the fault of the bank?
