Muslim Youths

Muslim Youths Muslim youths are angry, frustrated and extremist because they have been mis-educated and de-educated by the British schooling. Muslim children are confused because they are being educated in a wrong place at a wrong time in state schools with non-Muslim monolingual teachers.  They face lots of problems of growing up in two distinctive cultural traditions and value systems, which may come into conflict over issues such as the role of women in the society, and adherence to religious and cultural traditions. The conflicting demands made by home and schools on behaviour, loyalties and obligations can be a source of psychological conflict and tension in Muslim youngsters. There are also the issues of racial prejudice and discrimination to deal with, in education and employment. They have been victim of racism and bullying in all walks of life. According to DCSF, 56% of Pakistanis and 54% of Bangladeshi children has been victims of bullies. The first wave of Muslim migrants were happy to send their children to state schools, thinking their children would get a much better education. Than little by little, the overt and covert discrimination in the system turned them off.  There are fifteen areas where Muslim parents find themselves offended by state schools. The right to education in one’s own comfort zone is a fundamental and inalienable human right that should be available to all people irrespective of their ethnicity or religious background. Schools do not belong to state, they belong to parents. It is the parents’ choice to have faith schools for their children. Bilingual Muslim children need state funded Muslim schools with bilingual Muslim teachers as role models during their developmental periods. There is no place for a non-Muslim teacher or a child in a Muslim school. There are hundreds of state schools where Muslim children are in majority. In my opinion, all such schools may be designated as Muslim community schools. An ICM Poll of British Muslims showed that nearly half wanted their children to attend Muslim schools. There are only 143 Muslim schools. A state funded Muslim school in Birmingham has 220 pupils and more than 1000 applicants chasing just 60. Majority of anti-Muslim stories are not about terrorism but about Muslimculture--the hijab, Muslim schools, family life and religiosity. Muslims in the west ought to be recognised as a western community, not as an alien culture.Iftikhar Ahmadwww.londonschoolofislamics.org.uk

Fitna: A onesided, hateprovoking, discriminating film of PVV chair Mr Wilders

Dear Editor and readers, I have learnt with indignation about the''Fitna'', the anti-Islamic film of the right-wing Dutch politician, Mr G. Wilders The film is to be seen on www.youtube.com Warning: Shocking images As to be expected from the political views of Mr Wilders, the film is giving a onesided and negative image of the Islam, which is hateprovoking and discriminative [1] To legitimize his point of view, Mr Wilders is quoting some Qurantexts, which are used out of their context. Also he is referring to the terroristic attacks of WTC and Madrid, which have been committed by individuals and organisations, who are using the religion for their own political purposes Typical for his strand of thought is also the fact, that he doesn't refer to the political causes regarding those attacks An analysis: Religions: The fundaments of Islam, as of Christianity and Judaism, are based on the God of Love, peace and human rights However, through the centuries, politicians, religious leaders and military have used the religion for their own political and power aims I don't have to mention the Pope Urbanus II, the initiator of the Crusades, who broke with the fundamental principle pf Christianity by mentioning, that it was no sin to till ''infidels'' [2] I presume also, that you'll be familiar with the massacres of the Jewish and muslim inhabitants of Palestine, by the so-called Crusader-knights, all in the name of the ''christian faith'' Spoken about fanatism Also need to be mentioned the Spanish Inquisition, which slaughtered thousands of Jews and muslims and during the Reformation, the socalled protestant ''heretics'' Every religion knows its religious fanatics Stigmatising of the Islam: Typical for Wilders is his onesided and discriminative approach of the Islam. Not only he is making no distinction between the great scala of muslims, from ''moderate'' untill ''extreme'', his selective use of Qurantexts and his denial of the use of similar texts in the Old Testimony and the Torah Example of a horrible story of the Old Testimony is the genocide on the Amelecites [a nation, which waged war with the Israel from the time of King Saul], which would have taken place ''on the command of God'' [3] That this horrible old story has its consequences in this time, shows the existence of a Jewish religious fanatical group, the Gush Emunim [which means, the Blocj of Believers], who put several years ago an advertisement in the Haaretz, with a summon to slaughter all Palestinians, after the example of the Amelecites [4] Religious fanatism: Example by ALL religions The dangerous character of ''Fitna'' is not only the onesided quotes out of the Quran, but also the suggestion, that all muslims were religious fanatics First, that is a very small group Secondly, as being mentioned already, there are also ''christian'' or ''Jewish'' fanatics I mentioned already the Gush Emunim, who are also present under the religious fanatical Jewish settlers, especially at Hebron, who are terrorising the occupied Palestinian population [5] In the USA, the ''christian'' fundamentalists can be mentioned, who have assaulted the abortus clinics, especially in the nineties The Netherlands: Also in the Netherlands, religious fanatism existed, especially in the sixties, when IN THE DUTCH PARLIAMENT, a Mr van C Dis [of course NOT the writer A van Dis!], being member of parliament of a fundamental Dutch ''christian'' party, the SGP, defended the South African apartheid, by stating that negroes were inferior, being cursed as ''sons of Cham'' on the ground of an old misinterpreted Old Testamentical Story Yes readers, the Netherlands of the sixties! [6] Terroristic attacks and the political causes: WTC and Madrid In ''Fitna'' Mr Wilders is referring to the images of the WTC and Madrid attacks Of course the attacks were illegal and horrible, being military attacks on civilians, but it is demagogical to lay the guilt upon a specific religion All religions are based on human rights and love However, the interpretation of men is human work and stems from the own choice, for which only human beings are responsible Causes: Further Mr Wilders is denying here the political causes of the terroristic attacks, which stem from the political-military British-American behaviour in the Middle East The WTC attacks were a reaction on the American military attack on Iraq, with as humanitarian result thousands of civilian death, because of the use of clusterbombs and depleted uranium, which sickened also a great number of American soldiers [7] And not to be mentioned the UN sanctions against Iraq, which especially have hurted the elderly people and the children Because of lack of medicines, more than 500.000 Iraqi children has died The Madrid attacks were a reaction on the Spanish political and military support for the illegal second American attack on Iraq As in the first attack and Afghanistan, thousands of civilians have died because of the use of clusterbombs and depleted uranium WHERE IN THE WILDERSFILM CORPSES ARE SHOWN FROM THOSE CIVILIAN VICTIMS, THE DEAD IRAQI CHILDREN BECAUSE OF THE UN SANCTIONS AND THE TORTURED PRISONERS IN GUANTANAMO BAY, ABU GRAIBH, BAGHRAM AND OTHER AMERICAN PRISONCAMPS [8] IT IS NO WONDER, ONE WILL NOT SEE THOSE PICTURES, SINCE MR WILDERS HIMSELF IS PLEADING FOR A DUTCH GUANTANAMO BAY FOR TERRORSUSPECTS SINCE MR WILDERS IS OF THE OPINION, THAT ASYLUMSEEKERS SHOULD NOT GET MEDICAL CARE, EXCEPT WHEN THERE DIRECT LIFE IS AT STAKE Also it is to be mentioned, that those attacks, HOWEVER HORRIBLE, are a reaction on the structural American political and military support for the 40 years long Israeli occupation of the Palestinian terrirories [9] Mohammed cartoon: As well at the beginning as the end of ''Fitna'' one of the notorious Danish Muhammed cartoons are dispayed, by which the for the muslims holy Profet is being imaged with a bomb in his turban Again, yet apart from the insult to the Profet Muhammed, that association, that all muslims are terrorists Therefore it is to be applauded, that as well the Dutch prime-minister mr Balkenende, as the EU, the UN Sectretary General, as the mayor of Amsterdam, mr Cohen, have rejected this film sharply With all due respect for a number of Dutch muslims, who were relieved about the relatively not extreme character of the film [there was the fear of tearing or burning the Quran], the film IS EXTREME, HOWEVER It is stigmatising, hateprovoking and discriminative Again I wholeheartedly support the statements the Srs H de Winter, E van Thijn and rabbi Soetendorp, that the points of view of Mr Wilders have comparisons with the rising anti-semitism from the thirty years in nazi-Germany [10] From their Jewish background, they can feel, better then the average Dutchman [of course not to be named those, who are resisting against Wilders] the danger of those hateprovoking points of view Epilogue: Every military violence or torture against civilian people, hostages or prisoners of war is a war-crime, despite whether it is done by a regular army or a resistence group But war-crimes, which are inspired by religion, take place under each religion, whether christian, jewish or muslim Regarding that I want to recommend the film of the AEL Belgium [11] it is called ''Al Mouftinoun'' and also seen on www.youtube.com Warning: shocking images Of course everyone can form his own opinion about the film, but it represents the other side of the story Down with racism, anti-semitism and xenofobism At the end of the day, we are all people There is only ONE race, the human race Kind greetings Astrid Essed The End Of Huntington

The 9/11 attacks as well as the Madrid ones, and the murder of the Dutch film maker Theo Van Gogh by Muslim extremists…What once was far away in the USA came closer to our homes, such as the murder on Van Gogh showed us. The Islam in many countries in Europe came under a bad spotlight. It has lead to a sharp polarisation between the Muslim world and the West. It is going on and on this way and populist politicians such as Geert Wilders in the Netherlands, see their chance to provoke and insult other cultures and of course the Islam. His film, probably showing the 'backwardness' of the Islam can be seen in the tradition of what is called the unavoidable 'bloodsheding' war between cultures. All of this seemed to have been predicted by Samuel Huntington as he wrote his world famous and much talked about article Clash of civilisations in 1993, later on elaborated in his book The clash of Civilizations  where he poses the thesis that the end of the Cold War has introduced a new area where cultures will form the pattern along which conflicts will arise. In this article I want to warn for the danger of Huntington’s these and show a better paradigm for international relations. Kochler rightly argues that Huntington’s paradigm a danger forms for the global world order. Perception creates reality. A ‘theory’ describing the world as a unavoidable clash between civilisations, has the effect that the perceived clash becomes reality. This interdependency between perception and reality can be shown by the following action-reaction schedule. (A) The perception of a treat gets used by the elite of one or more member states of a civilisation to mobilise the public for the realisation of hidden interests. Interests that can be realised by perceiving actions as preventive self-defence. An example is the war against Iraq. The perception of a treat works as a vehicle of real warfare. Oil is the hidden interest. (B) The countries (of the civilisations) that are seen as a treat will come with a counter-action. This one has two elements. They will oppose the dominant culture (the West) and they will assert themselves. The following step is that they will come into action under the name of self- defence against those international actors who threaten them, namely, the countries who want to start a preventive war under the same motive. This preventive war will be labelled as the strife for national interests – economic or political. In this way a vicious circle of threat perception and defensive war comes into life. Huntington’s these becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy in this way. Is the The clash of civilisations perhaps nothing more than a ‘theory’ providing the West (read: Bush) a legitimation to realize plans in the Middle East and Central Asia? This means safeguarding the entry to oil and settling a West and Israel befriended system? It depends on what the Western civilisations does with Huntington’s political policy advices. The war against terrorism – even if oil and other motives play a role – showed that there is no clash between the whole Muslim world and the West. A lot of support from Muslim countries was the foundation for peaceful co-operation. On the other hand, ‘mulsimbrothers’ have called each other traitors for co-operating with the West. Is it then, the Machiavellian divide and rule tactic, more explicitly Huntington’s advise to exploit differences among the groups within a civilisation?  How scientific is a these serving political goals? Huntington has a range of political advises for the government and it seems often to happen that his ‘facts’ are submitted to his theory. Manipulating and selecting facts to make them fit for his paradigm. He calls several conflicts typical ‘civilisation’ conflicts (the war against Iraq) whereas it is nothing else than a conflict where national interests (oil) are at stake. He thinks of new civilisations where they don’t exist as separate ones, such as South America, as he admits, for the reason of analytic theory. Turning reality upside down. Above all this he gives advises that contradict. He poses Russia theoretically in the Orthodox civilisation, where he advises the government to push this country in the direction of the E.U.

The head scarf debate

The debate about the multicultural society is dominated by the position of the Islam. The headscarf issue is a daily topic in the discussion about the Muslim community. It is argued that the Muslim culture doesn’t ‘fit’ in the Dutch ‘national culture.’ I want to examine these two concepts – nation and culture – in order to show that the headscarf debate is non-sense.
The proposition that Muslims must adapt themselves to our culture is based on the assumption that the ‘national’ ‘culture’ is an existing reality. Yet, Neither the Dutch ‘nation’ nor the Dutch ‘culture’ are fixed entities. Therefore they don’t exist.

ASSIMILATION OF MUSLIMS IN "WESTERN" SOCIETY

In March 2000, a talked-about argumentation for assimilation of Muslims appeared in the Dutch NRC Handelsblad, namely Paul Scheffer’s Het multiculturele drama (The drama of multiculturalism.) The author observes that a new form of the nineteenth century social question is threatening the Netherlands. An ethnic underclass is coming into existence that has the same features and problems as the nineteenth century working class. Immigrants show a substantial lag in cognitive development and linguistic skills, as a result of which the access to better jobs is blocked. Besides of that, they have no or little education. As a result of this, all sorts of problems are arising among immigrants – especially among Muslims --; problems such as unemployment, drop-out from school and crime.

The "deepest" meaning of the clash between the East and the West throughout history

From Salih Mirzabeyoglu's "The State of Grandsublime" (I am the editor of this work): THE EAST IN THE EASTERN POINT OF VIEW Now that the Orient, as a relative continent divided into units such as Islam, Brahmanism, Buddhism and Zoroastrianism, and did not possess the unity of religion and knowledge of the Occident, and was deprived of technical essentials with which to reduce itself as a continent totally, it does not have a particular view on its own. With all its separate and distinct poles, the emotional unity and sameness of the Oriental man's view of the Occident after the weakness of Islamic cadres in the Islamic world, is not because they agree on their view of self or because they know, understand and measure their own self and thus have an essential unity, but because of a shared sense of imprisonment and intimidation before a common enemy.

3 Essays that will change our worlds focus - Avoiding Roman History mistakes, destroying Isreal with a false prophet, Youth08

The history of Rome was a society like no other. We are all part of the Roman conflict. Some how during the fall of Rome, every one of us in the great world of our survived the fall of Rome, the 700 years of complete destruction of society, infrastructures, library's from 2000 years of history and we all were either part of the rise of Christianity, survived Paganism in some parts of the world or became part of the last religion that followed in fear of Christianity, Islam. Although many great people have been part of the Islamic history, the greatest portion of Islam that still survives today is the reason it was established, to counter the fear of Christianity during the fall of the Roman empire in the East. Islam took 2000 years of history and destroyed it and has yet to advance its own people out of the dark ages and uses this as a motivation for destruction of Christianity. As Christianity moved forward in the West, Islam slowly declined until all it had left was to fight for land and take over Christianity and its money, power and strong following of Christians world wide. The history of Rome ended at the beginning of the rise of Islam and Christianity. Both religions believe in God therefore every soul believing in God has the possibility of being saved. The error in judgement is not on the people but on the false prophet. I have read about how a false prophet will rise and millions will follow this great leader. They will truly believe he is the leader or prophet of his people. Because Islam use's Sex to gain young mens souls to die for God, Because Islam use's fighting to convert instead of love and because Islam has a leader without a face because of the fear of looking into the eye's of a false prophet or that the man was just a man who used the poor people of the day to motivate them to steal the riches of Christianity and the fall of Rome. The false prophet is Islam and the leader of Islam. The Billions that follow the war, the 72 women that will be at the end of young men's suicide deaths is so easy to see it is false. Everyone I have ever talked to has admitted it can not be. So if it can't be that millions will die for a lie then how can the religion that believes illiteracy and only knowledge of the Koran is a good thing. How can Women be bound to home and hide be a blessing of God. Because of his own inability to control him self, covering women helped him succeed to be a better person. I have met many good Muslims yet never have I met a Muslim that truly has seen the light of day or the blessings of God.

The Quran remarks of Mr Wilders are a declaration of war on fundamental constitutional rights

The Quran-remarks of Mr Wilders are a declaration of war on fundamental human rights With his recent hateprovoking remarks, in which he pleaded in favour of a ban on the Quran and also made a comparison between this Holy Book and ''Mein Kampf', the biography of Adolf Hitler, The Dutch right-wing politician G Wilders has declared war on the fundamental human rights, which are the heart of real civilisation Dear Editor and readers, Undoubtedly you have learnt about the recent proposed ban on the Quran of the anti-muslim and anti-immigration Dutch MP Mr Wilders [chair of the socalled ''Party for Freedom'', www.pvv.nl], by which he has compared the for million muslims Holy Book, with Adolf Hitlers ''Mein Kampf

A CRY OF INNER SOUL

HI all I have selected some beautiful sayings, hoping that you will like them. Hadith Qudsi are the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) as revealed to him by the Almighty Allah. Hadith Qudsi (or Sacred Hadith) are so named because, unlike the majority of Hadith which are Prophetic Hadith, their authority (Sanad) is traced back not to the Prophet but to the Almighty. On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Spend (on charity), O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.

The political views of Mr Wilders [Dutch MP]

Article 1 All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. See: http://www.unhchr.ch/udhr/lang/eng.htm Dear Editor and readers, Viewing the fact, that today it's the 5th of may, the Dutch liberation-day from the German nazi-occupation, I think it's of main importance to realize, that freedom and democracy is not only implying freedom of elections and freedom of speech [with exception of insulting people because of their descent or religion] Democracy is fundamentally based on the humane and equal treatment of all human beings, regardless their descent, religion and committed crime

Jihad - a sanitizing crusade!

Get the psychology right first - only then can you apply the concept to cultural and social phenomena. Jihad is a sanitizing crusade in the same sense that heretic-burning and ethnic cleansing are sanitizing crusades. Lurking deep in the mind of the implacable jihadist is the same sanitizing obsession that drove Milosevic and Ratco Mladic to launch a campaign of extermination against Muslims in the Balkans; the same obsession inspired the persecuting popes to launch a series of persecutions against European Christians who dared to disagree with His Holiness's infallible pronouncements; and the same sanitizing obsession energised Adolf Hitler to launch his 'Final Solution' in 20th century Europe.
