Why Are Multi-Passported Shysters Going After Olmert? To Avoid Peace!

In truth too many people now know what a fraud has become the once heroic Zionist dream. But no frauds are all my sabra friends who died defending their one and only homeland in war after war after war.... Perhaps they too should have taken their world-class high quality degrees from Israel's one product that is the best in the world--- higher education-- and run West with it to fine jobs, as did and do so many others in a mass reverse aliyah. The old farts who stay are not really staying, carrying multiple passports. Israeli Knesset Deputies that lose elections just come and run for office or take public sector jobs in the US using their Jewish connection. Almost every right wing "shoot-em-up" Likudnik has multiple passports and bank accounts abroad. They want sabras to die fighting to expend the Jewish state but, if the fight fails, they've gotten citizenship available where their US tax-payer money turned into shekels are banked. We now hear that in the midst of negotiations for a final settlement promised by Olmert, Israel is building 700 new settler homes for non-existent settlers. Of the housing units built to date, according to the US State Dept, 74% are empty. So these, like the rest, are only a case of creating expressionistic "facts on the ground" with empty buildings.

The 60th anniversary of Israel: Nothing to celebrate

Remember the Naqba

Dear Editor and readers,

According to my opinion, there is no reason whatsoever to celebrate the 60 anniversary of the State of Israel [1]

The Blockade on Gaza: Crime against humanity

No electricity, people are going hungry, no bread, and no medicine and lots of things that are missing. people are out in the streets now calling for the world to end the starvation and siege. It might be that people's only option is to break out the borderline and go to Egypt and get food. It's scary here. no bread, no water at home where I am. I have some leftovers biscuits from two days ago. but my laptop batteries will be flat soon. I will find a new agency from those who have electricity generators to recharge my laptop and keep online, if you don't hear from me this is why. Again, I fear Israeli warplanes will bomb the people in the streets. people are in lines trying to find bread. I never seen this in all my 23 years life!´ Mohammed Omer

Targeting strategy reveals who are the REAL terrorists

Many Palestinian apologists seem to make the argument that the thousands of unguided rockets fired into Israel (threatening combatants and non-combatants alike) are not really terrorism since there are so few direct casualties. Israel on the other hand, does not deliberately target noncombatants and has refined technology to limit collateral damage and casualties. I came across a great article (from Reuters of all places) that was exactly on point. Excerpts below.

3 Essays that will change our worlds focus - Avoiding Roman History mistakes, destroying Isreal with a false prophet, Youth08

The history of Rome was a society like no other. We are all part of the Roman conflict. Some how during the fall of Rome, every one of us in the great world of our survived the fall of Rome, the 700 years of complete destruction of society, infrastructures, library's from 2000 years of history and we all were either part of the rise of Christianity, survived Paganism in some parts of the world or became part of the last religion that followed in fear of Christianity, Islam. Although many great people have been part of the Islamic history, the greatest portion of Islam that still survives today is the reason it was established, to counter the fear of Christianity during the fall of the Roman empire in the East. Islam took 2000 years of history and destroyed it and has yet to advance its own people out of the dark ages and uses this as a motivation for destruction of Christianity. As Christianity moved forward in the West, Islam slowly declined until all it had left was to fight for land and take over Christianity and its money, power and strong following of Christians world wide. The history of Rome ended at the beginning of the rise of Islam and Christianity. Both religions believe in God therefore every soul believing in God has the possibility of being saved. The error in judgement is not on the people but on the false prophet. I have read about how a false prophet will rise and millions will follow this great leader. They will truly believe he is the leader or prophet of his people. Because Islam use's Sex to gain young mens souls to die for God, Because Islam use's fighting to convert instead of love and because Islam has a leader without a face because of the fear of looking into the eye's of a false prophet or that the man was just a man who used the poor people of the day to motivate them to steal the riches of Christianity and the fall of Rome. The false prophet is Islam and the leader of Islam. The Billions that follow the war, the 72 women that will be at the end of young men's suicide deaths is so easy to see it is false. Everyone I have ever talked to has admitted it can not be. So if it can't be that millions will die for a lie then how can the religion that believes illiteracy and only knowledge of the Koran is a good thing. How can Women be bound to home and hide be a blessing of God. Because of his own inability to control him self, covering women helped him succeed to be a better person. I have met many good Muslims yet never have I met a Muslim that truly has seen the light of day or the blessings of God.

The Palestinian Refugee problem and transfer

Dear Editor and Readers, Last month june, it has been 40 years ago, Resolution 242 has passed, which urged Israel to withdraw from among else the Palestinian areas, which it had conquered in the june-war in 1967 As you all shall know, Israel completely has ignored, over 40 years, to fullfill this resolution The occupation was the last fullfillment of the conquest of ''historical Palestine'', which was the very aim of zionism Another aim was the expulsion of the original and autochton Palestinian population from their own country, which has been executed in 1948 [750.000 people] and 1967 [250.000 people] In contrary with the allegations of zionist non-deniers [regarding the expulsion] this, however, was not an ad hoc war-crime, but a deliberate strategy, which was based on the views of the early zionist thinkers and is a 'necessity'' for the fullfillment of the political zionism To expose and unmask this process and in remembrance of all the nameless victims of this ethnic cleansings, I have written underlying article May justice be like a river Kind regards Astrid Essed The Netherlands See for picture of Palestinian refugees: http://www.palestineremembered.com/Articles/General/Story1649.html The Palestinian Refugee-question and the ideology of transfer Dedicated to the anonymous Palestinian victims of expulsion In solemn remembrance and respect for Count Folke Bernadotte, who, being UN mediator for Palestine in 1948, has paid with his life by defending the rights of the Palestinian Arabs, who were victims of the expulsion by the Israeli-zionist militias.

Fred Halliday article

Originally posted in the comments section by a reader ai_1: I don't think that I have ever said this with regard to an article in a UK publication on this particular conflict but, I suppose, there is always a first time: I agree with every single word. It scores ten out of ten on both detailed knowledge of the subject matter and on basic humanity and empathy which are, frankly, indispensable in understanding and resolving human conflict. Thank you.

How peace is possible

Debates about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are rarely couched in optimism - indeed most discussions take on a distinctly pessimistic, even defeatist, air. Tony Klug, a Senior Middle East analyst, seeks to challenge this deep-rooted pessimism is an essay entitled, 'How Peace Broke Out in the Middle East', which is to be published by the Fabian Society. The basic premise is that one grand gesture, followed by a number of reciprocal gestures, could open the floodgates to an inexorable torrent towards a lasting two-state solution. The essay is cleverly written from the perspective of a hypothetical future in which peace has in fact broken out. Klug's masterstroke is to trace the peace process through a sequence of imagined yet utterly plausible gestures, thereby debunking the entrenched pessimism that acts as a major obstacle to peace.

Selling a Vision of Hope

One Couple's Attempt to Change the World Many people around the world sense that as a species, we may well be inching our way toward a bad place. With the looming crisis between the Western world and the Muslim world, and with so many other crises brewing, like global warming and nuclear proliferation to name a few, things aren't looking quite as rosy as they should. What if anything can we do about it? Mira and Nick Dahan, a middle-aged couple living in Baltimore, Maryland, have come up with a novel approach which they call Selling a Vision of Hope (http://www.sellingavisionofhope.org). The idea is that together, we may be able to shift the world in a slightly different direction, one which points to the possibility of peace.

questions for a palestinian about education

Hi All. I'm in the process of writing a (non-politicized) research report on the Palestinian education system for the International Consortium for Law and Development. This organization is neither pro-Israeli nor pro-Palestinian; IRAC members go into developing nations to help solve internal problems by implementing effective domestic legislation. A visit to the Palestinian Teritories is scheduled for May. With that disclaimer in mind, I have a bunch of questions that I need to ask a Palestinian about the Palestinian education system. My research report is focusing specifically on why so many Palestinians fail the Tawjihi matriculation exam, and consequently cannot go to college.

The Balfour Declaration - How the Palestine/State of Israel deal worked out

The Balfour Declaration - How the Palestine/State of Israel deal worked out? ...While that was going on, the Zionists in Germany, who represented the Zionists from Eastern Europe, went to the British War Cabinet and -- I am going to be brief because this is a long story, but I have all the documents to prove any statement that I make if anyone here is curious, or doesn't believe what I'm saying is at all possible -- the Zionists in London went to the British war cabinet and they said: ?Look here. You can yet win this war. You don't have to give up. You don't have to accept the negotiated peace offered to you now by Germany. You can win this war if the United States will come in as your ally.?

Jimmy Carter: Israel more oppressive than what blacks lived under in South Africa The Territories: Israel's Secret Shame "More oppressive than what blacks lived under in South Africa during apartheid" By JIMMY CARTER December 10 2006 I signed a contract with Simon & Schuster two years ago to write a book about the Middle East, based on my personal observations as the Carter Center monitored three elections in Palestine, and on my consultations with Israeli political leaders and peace activists. We covered every Palestinian community in 1996, 2005 and 2006, when Yasser Arafat and later Mahmoud Abbas were elected president and members of parliament were chosen. The elections were almost flawless, and turnout was very high - except in East Jerusalem, where, under severe Israeli restraints, only about 2 percent of registered voters managed to cast ballots.

historic justification

How can it be that there so often be referred to a time 2000 years ago as a justification for the location of the jewish state of israel? If we are in the business of making such irrelevant leaps in time i say why stop at 2000 years? why not jump back to around 1500 bc to when the judaists moved into the region and slaughtered the resident canaan population? The notion that the jewish people where always in the area until they were chased out is simply not true. If the canaan (purple people)still existed would that make them the rightful owners of the area in question seeing as there civilization inhabited the area 3500 years ago?

Stalinist techniques for occupied and occupier dominate Mideast

When the Cold War ended I thought Stalinism would become a bad memory for me to study as a pathology of history. But the perennial Middle East Crisis in its current form has proceeded with both sides exercising their Stalinist prerogatives. The Arabs-- whom I personally saw trained in East Europe in the 1980s to become adept at Stalnist terror tactics of resistance developed during the Nazi occupation of Russia-- are resisting Israel, finally most effectively, using these techniques constantly into yet another generation of struggle. The Israelis, on the other hand, who had inherited as

Israeli Master Class in Terrorism

It's very clear what the Israelis are doing in the Lebanon, despite what all the experts on the news media claim. They are delivering a master class in classical terrorism. The intention is to drive the Shia population out of South. The rational being, that if you cleanse the region of the population from which Hizzbolah receives support then you cleanse the region of Hizzbolah. The U.S resorted to this sort of solution during it's Vietnamese horror fest. It didn't work. But you never know, when Condoleeza Rice has negotiated enough time for the Israeli Defence Force to complete the Exile strat
