Freedom of Offensive Speech

Roger Scruton's article states, "The United States supreme court has set a very destructive precedent here, by regarding pornography as "speech" for the purposes of the constitution's first amendment, so protecting the most offensive image-mongering as though it were a vital contribution to public debate." I say it has set a WISE precendent. One set by wise men and women on the court who know both the sophisticated arguments of Voltaire and the humble wisdom of a grandmother who taught that "sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me." Please, more cartoons! If one insults me I'll buy another that doesn't.
