We have found the issue which was preventing some of you to post in the forums - the spam filter ended up catching many of your messages, which I now re-published. We're currently working on fixing the problem, and I will post an update soon.

Dear jessica 1- i have noticed and i hope iam incorrect, that many times when i participate in OD and write my opinion especially on the palestinian issue, i got viruses destroyed the computer iam using it as e.g iam in vacation at other country using my sister computer, so it seems may be as iam an arabic and muslim and always we are taught that a consperacy is aroung us, iam dreaming of it. i dont know , i like answers for that. 2- After the 2 posts, second day the virus come to the computer of poor my nephews to destroy it and they were deprived from using it . I hope iam wrong . sometimes i dont like to participate as not to get viruses from people whom dont like to know some of the truth or at least to hear other opinion of honest ones. 3- Any other posters faced the same iam facing ,or only me ?

abdulksaida, As far as I know it would not be the site causing viruses, although maybe not impossible. Many viruses are introduced via emails. Have you also been recieving emails on your nephews computer?

Dear abdulksaida,

Brendan is probably right. There is virtually no way that our site would forward viruses to your computers, but there is a strong chances you are getting them via your e-mails. Do you receive a lot of spam? If so, don't ever open them, just delete the messages.

Abdulksaida called me just a few moments ago to know wether she is prohibited from participating in this forum The point she emaphasises on that she has not meant to hurt any body or participant on opendemocracy..Moreover, she expresses her wilingness to be welcomed at any time and she rejects the idea of being discriminated. SHE IS ASKING WHETHER SHE IS BLOCKED AS A RESULT OF HER WRITING ON VIRUS.

These forums are not user friendly. They are too slow and it takes too much time to scroll down the pages. You should have shorter pages, with the latest post on top of the page.
