kurds were expelled from their capital city. other iraqis took their homes. why is their so little interest in this issue among those who condemn israel? does bruchtjelsma really believe his revisionist one sided history? he clearly has spent so much time studying and figuring how only israel is wrong. of course any interpretation against israel is absorbed, while any arguments that there are two sides in this story just can't be tolerated. did sharon's visit to the temple mount really trigger the 2nd intifada? or was it a planned campaign waiting for a trigger? one thing is clear, sharon would never have been elected, and then reelected, if not for the suicide bombings. in a region so traumatized by human rights violations, how can so many only be obsessed with israel? if you took every country in the region and set up a scale with the weight of human violations how would each country rank? the tv cameras don't enter the torture chambers of iraq, syria, iran, saudi arabia... i don't think we could stomach it if they did.
