Pope Benedict XVI, as expected, has authorized the latin Mass for traditionalist priests and their flocks. It is a great victory for freedom in modern society as well as within the Catholic Church. It is also the end of a thirty year persecution of traditionalists in the church, that began in 1976 when Pope Paul VI suspended Mgr Lefebvre from all sacerdotal functions. One can't wait to see the reactions of liberal catholics and of all upholders of politically correct interdicts and censorship...
