Quote of the day

The sudden assertion of human criteria within a dehumanising framework of political manipulation can be like a flash of lightning illuminating a dark landscape

Mugabe Has Run Out Senses

Oh yes , i have been on the OD several times responding to several debates, ie. Solana's "The WSIS: whose freedom, whose information?",Ousmane Sembène's "Africa in the mirror of cinema" and Gil Loescher “I was not going to die in the rubble” . I warned in my response to Solana's article that certain leaders should be put on the spotlight and be made accountable for their mis-informations.Some despots such as Mugabe are now totally irrelevant to any meaningful world summit to an extent that their presence there triggers anger and raises riots.Mugabe , has become so irrelevant to anything to an extent such that he is vainlessly now against everyone including himself. The world must never allow itself to be bullied by this self-professed African Hitler. His announcement that our beloved country has pulled out of Commonwealth without the consensus of the parliament shows how a dictator can hold the entire nation at ransom. He knew already that his chances of surviving a further suspension were next to none, and he is furious about the refusal by Obasanjo to invite him to the Abuja conference despite his blackmail about African brotherhood against the "white imperialist" the kind of bullshit hes always talking about. The Nigerian President refused to be cowed and it gives good precedence to pan-Africanism. In Shona they say "zizi harina nyanga" (the owl has no horns) so the world must never be bullied by this zizi, we are tired of his childish and yet dangerous antics. When everyone is busy trying to find common grounds for amity , Mugabe is busy on the other hand throwing Africa and the entire world into confusion , its a tactic of a dying despot meant to distract attention from the real issues surrounding his travel restrictions by several countries as well as the suspension of Zim from the C'Wealth club. May someone in the UN security council ,or someone who knows someone there , or someone who knows anyone who knows someone there, immediately place Mugabe and his government on the UN special agenda, before the situation gets bad in Zimbabwe.
