Omnipotent being creating sinful beings At any point in your life have you been alone with your thoughts and wondered why you had to be a “sinful” person from the moment that spark that is you came into existence? Do you ever want to scream that you are different and not sinful? I know the stories or at least those related in the Old Testament. Why do you think that our forbearers felt it was so important that the narratives they wrote depicted human beings as fatality flawed from birth? I understand the social concepts of say eating unclean meat; pork and worms, not to mention having at least one day off a week to thank whoever for not killing me the last six, but why did I have to be broke from the very start of life? Is human nature such that without some mechanism to forestall the destructive intent of man that we have to work from a position of wrong to right verses just being to everything. Again I know the stories, yet have you stretched your imagination to understand why the Omnipotent Being would create sometime bad, sinful, wrong, evil, criminal… something broke? So, the Omnipotent Being decided that since the first two humans failed, the rules needed to be changed. Guilt, shame, remorse and fear were now necessary components for shaping humanity. Insidiously manufactured lies surround the origin of man as told by every religion throughout history. I am simply sick of being bad to be good, wrong to be right and of course I am definitely not holding my breath for mansions, 37 virgins, streets of gold and all that frigging singing of praise, aka… heaven. When is it Man and when is it a Higher Power? Why does it have to be one? Because God said so? Urggggg, makes my teeth hurt.
