As I'm sure you've noticed by now, OurKingdom has migrated to a new site along with the rest of the openDemocracy clan. We hope you like the crisp new look of the re-designed site and the improved navigation and readability it offers. Special thanks must go to to OK's Thomas Ash for his impressive and patient tech work over the past six months.

There's a lovely introduction to the new site by openDemocracy's editor-in-chief Tony Curzon Price who discusses how the redesign reflects oD's distinctive "federalist" approach to online publishing; an approach which "seeks a balance between the unplanned energy of the blogosphere and the coherence of centralised command and control of the old newspaper."

As far as publishing goes things appear to be going smoothly so far, but there will inevitably be hiccups as we get to grips with the new site. Some comments from previous threads (including those referred to below by David Marquand) seem to have got lost somewhere along the way and we'll do our best to get these back.

One important change that should be mentioned is that we now have post-moderation for all comments. This should hopefully allow discussion to flow more freely. If there's a comment you've read that you think is inappropriate and should be deleted you can flag it up and the moderator will take a look.  

Anyway, thanks for reading - we hope you enjoy OK even more in its new home.
