Just because George Bush cheated twice in getting elected and is trying to impose his version of "democracy" (in his estimation, this means freedom to make massive corporate profits) does not mean that democracy itself is a flawed concept. All human institutions need a built in feedback mechanism that enables the ruled to correct the tendency of rulers to become oppressive. We need more democracy, not less.
