A week or so ago. I suggested that the neoconservative agenda stretched well beyond their professed aim of bringing democracy to Iraq and that underlying it was their preoccupation with defeating Israel's principal enemies, Iraq,Iran and Syria. I then went on to say that they enivisaged weakening or even eradicating the hold Islam had on its adherents. My view is that the Jewish neocons, who are very influential in the Bush administration, had used the opportunity presented by 9/11 and a compliant President Bush, who had his own motives, to implement their long held ambition, which they had presented to the thenIsraeli Prime Minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, in 1996. I was immediately set upon by the OD neocons, who said that I was crazy to even think along such lines.
