Re: Rules for this forum
These rules prove that this is not a democratic forum! Since when did someone's name have an effect on the clarity of their argument? Stating that posters who do not use logic will be exposed seems to imply that the whole debate has been closed. As far as I'm concerned, Global Warming being caused by human action is a false notion. My logic is based on the fact that it was warmer a thousand years ago than it is now and civilization was not the cause of it due to a lack of the industrial process which didn't appear until at least five hundred years later when the weather then cooled. As my logic cannot be disputed due to archeological evidence, could I ask you to delete any posts which disagree with my viewpoint? Yours mischievously A Number - my real name

Bravo!! Trolling and flaming banished. Also, revealing your public identity is inherent to democracy. Faceless anonymity of the 'masses' is more like Communism in my view. This could topic could be subject to some kind of "Freeper" undermining from the thug wing of the right. Thanks.

Hello climate change debaters, If you would like to switch to using your real name you can do so by going to http://www.opendemocracy.net/accounts/member_about.jsp There you will see a field called "Forum name", where you can enter your real name, and save the change to your details. You can also enter information about yourself in the "biography" field if you would like to share more than your name. Best, Sarah - forum moderator
