I'm jazzed by the upcoming release of Ry Cooder's first album in 2 yrs, "My Name is Buddy": http://www.richardsilverstein.com/tikun_olam/2007/01/25/ry-cooders-new-my-name-is-buddy-to-be-released-march-6th/ Ry renews the spirit by recovering for us the wonderful styles of American roots music over the past century. I've heard "Three Chords & the Truth" from the album & it's a knockout song.
