Patrick Weil is director of research at the Centre national de la recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and a former member of the commission on the implementation of the principle of secularism in the French republic. He co-edited Dual Nationality, Social Rights and Federal Citizenship in the U.S. and Europe (Berghahn, 2002).
