Robert Matthews is an adjunct professor at the Graduate Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at New York University and a fellow at the Centro de InvestigaciÌ_n para la Paz in Madrid. He has written on Latin American social movements, United States policy in Latin America and the non-western world, and low-intensity conflicts.
