Achin Vanaik is an independent journalist and fellow at the Centre for Contemporary Studies, Nehru Memorial Museum and Library. In 1998, he co-founded the Movement in India for Nuclear Disarmament (MIND) and South Asians Against Nukes. Among his books are (with Praful Bidwai) New Nukes: India, Pakistan and Global Nuclear Disarmament (Interlink, 1999).
