The sudden assertion of human criteria within a dehumanising framework of political manipulation can be like a flash of lightning illuminating a dark landscape

terrorism is a symptom

'terrorism' is a symptom, and war on symptoms of course is like Don Quijote, chasing windmills. For scores of decades the west has humiliated the Muslim world, not just the USA, Israel, France and UK, Greek colonists in around 1900 Egyptian Alexandria were expected to hit their Muslim servants. When the Arabs, during WW I, with help from Lawrence and Britain, defeated their Ottoman oppressors, they asked Lawrence which promises Britain would keep. Lawrence died around 1933 in a mysterious motorcycle accident. Diana, according to her future father in law three months pregnant from a Muslim, died in a never well explained car crash in Paris. Both British MI5 and Mossad are accused of murder, both UK and Israel have/had reason not to welcome a Muslim stepfather for the future British king. UK, Israel and USA treated the Musim world like dirt, as the USSR did. When after 1991 USA troops stayed in Saudi Arabia a certain Osama Bin Laden got angry. Can one blame him ?
